We have all been in that infuriating situation where desktop notifications keep popping and disrupting your browsing experience, especially notifications from malicious websites,
I’ll show you how to disable those desktop notifications in google chrome.
- Go to the menu (the 3 dots at the top right) then settings
2. Scroll down and expand the advanced settings
3. Under the Privacy and Security area, look for Site Settings.
4. Look for Notifications
Here you’ll find all allowed sites and blocked sites.
You can choose to block all sites by turning off Ask Before Sending option.
Or you can manually block or allow sites.
To Block a site: Next to “Block,” click Add. Enter the site and click Add.
To Allow a site: Next to “Allow,” click Add. Enter the site and click Add.
And that’s all. All those pesky notifications won’t be bothering you anymore.
